The Brides of Fu Manchu is a 1966 British/West German Constantin Film co-production adventure crime film based on the fictional Chinese villain Dr. Fu Manchu, created by Sax Rohmer. It was the second film in a series and was preceded by The Face of Fu Manchu.
Fu Manchu and his army of henchmen are kidnapping the daughters of prominent scientists and taking them to his remote island headquarters. Instead of asking for ransom, Fu demands that the fathers help him to build a death ray, which he intends to use to take over the world. But Fu's archenemy, Sir Denis Nayland Smith of Scotland Yard, is determined not to let that happen.
Can Fu Manchu and his henchmen be stopped from kidnapping the daughters of prominent scientists and using them as blackmail?
Initial release: September 2, 1966
Director: Don Sharp
Film series: The Face of Fu Manchu
Screenplay: Harry Alan Towers, Sax Rohmer
Producers: Harry Alan Towers, Oliver A. Unger

These films were originally produced long before the advent of High Definition TV, therefore they are best viewed on a small screen. HD TVs tend to stretch and skew the picture. Set your HD TV on 4:3 aspect ratio. (That was the old TV format). Please do not expect DVD or Commercial level DVDs from these films.
